Baltimore City’s Board of Estimates (Nick Mosby, Brandon Scott, Bill Henry) recently decided to spend $18 million to buy three new police helicopters which will cost about $3 million to run every year (not including costs of pilots, training, etc and cost to the environment due to pollution) Our city has so few sanitation workers they changed recycling pickup from once a week to every two weeks. A sanitation worker makes about $30,000 yearly.
